Who we are

​

Established over 70 years ago in 1950, the Edmonton Basketball Officials Association provides trained and certified referees to the basketball games and tournaments in the greater Edmonton area -- community youth, club, junior high school, senior high school and, as a proud partner of the Alberta Basketball Officials Association (ABOA), to the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference. EBOA members also officiate at Canada West University and FIBA-sanctioned games.

Members of the EBOA Executive are elected by our membership at our Annual General Meeting for a term of two years.  Positions available for elections are staggered in alternating years in order to ensure succession of information, portfolios and the overall direction of the Association.
