Exams
The Canada Basketball Officials Commission (CBOC), formerly known as the Canadian Association of Basketball Officials (CABO), creates and distributes annually a national officials exam. This exam is administered online and all active officials in Canada that are members of a local board or Association are required to write and pass this exam in order to continue officiating. For certain assignment and appointments, a minimum exam mark is required.
In order to prepare EBOA officials for the annual exam, a number of past and refresher exams are available below for review, completion and study. Officials are reminded to utilize their FIBA Rulebook, FIBA Interpretations Manual and CBOC Casebook when doing exam prep.
